Review
The Quota & File Sentinel Explorer Add-on is an optional utility available for use with the NTP Software Quota & File Sentinel product. It lets you check information such as the size of a Quota & File Sentinel quota limit set on an object, whether the object is below, close to, or above its limit, and the amount of space left on the limit. The Quota & File Sentinel Explorer Add-on utility lets you view all of this information from within the familiar Windows Explorer Properties dialog.
This feature gives you the ability to view status information on Quota & File Sentinel limits at any time. By installing this utility on other machines, you can also give your end-users the ability to view their Quota & File Sentinel limit status information at any time.
The Quota & File Sentinel Explorer Add-on utility is a “read-only” tool in that it can tell you when an object is over or close to being over its limit, but you cannot use it to correct the situation. To correct an over-limit situation, you still need to trim the size of the object that went over the limit, or reset the Quota & File Sentinel quota policy on
the object. |
